Overview:

Working alongside the team of Senior procurement specialists, your role will be to take responsibility for the strategic sourcing and category management for accountable categories. Developing clear category management strategies and maximising value across the end to end product selection sourcing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop category strategies aligned with long-term goals.
• Implement strategic plans for commercial success.
• Manage supplier relationships for continuous improvement.
• Negotiate and optimise commercial terms.
• Streamline supplier processes for efficiency.
• Oversee key vendor contracts.
• Utilise technology for enhanced procurement.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Support menu development.
• Maintain compliance and process improvement.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Sourcing and category management in foodservice or food production.
• Strong market knowledge and negotiation skills.
• Change management and project experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Desirable:

• E-procurement platform proficiency.
• CIPS qualification or industry experience.
